The Team

Our team are headed up by our only paid member of staff, Roy, the youth leader. Without our dedicated team we simply couldn’t function.

Youth Club staff circles

Roy’s lived in Oxford all his life, restarting KYC in June 2017. He has a BA (Hons) in Youth Work and over 17 years’ experience working with young people through work (education, local authority) and volunteer settings (Scouts and theatre). Currently working as a Learning Mentor for Complex Needs and owner of his own mentoring and relaxation business, in his limited spare time, he is proud to be an award-winning radio broadcaster, a writer, and sometime actor.

  • Helping on club nights, supervising games and helping the young people perfect their dart’s throw
  • Organisation and supervising cooking activities on club nights
  • Selling tuck on club nights
  • Fundraising
  • Admin support
  • DIY of the building and equipment
