Our team is headed up by the only paid member of staff, Roy, the youth leader. Without our dedicated team we simply couldn’t function.
Roy’s lived in Oxford all his life, restarting KYC in June 2017. He has a BA (Hons) in Youth Work and 18 years’ experience working with young people through work (education, local authority) and volunteer settings (Scouts and theatre). His focus has always been on young people’s wellbeing with his dissertation in mental health. He owns his own wellbeing and coaching business and is a freelance writer. In his limited spare time, he is proud to be an award-winning radio broadcaster and sometime actor.
Roy leads on programme and activities, is First Aider, and Safeguarding.
