We visited Abingdon Police station on Wednesday, a big milestone as this was our first trip out since the club reopened.
We got to see the control room and were shocked at how many 999 calls they take each day.
We saw the CCTV room and tried to spot locations we recognized (fairly easily in Abingdon, harder in further afield parts of Oxfordshire).
We climbed inside a police van, tried out riot helmets and shields…
Great evening out, thanks to everyone involved, and in particular Tracey, our parent volunteer, and of course Abingdon Police.
